Welcome to the Verado website (the “Site”) brought to you by Verado Technologies Ltd.
Verado is the premier marketplace for pre-owned luxury items. Through the Site, we offer our customers a safe, convenient and fast way to sell valuables to a network of third party buyers and get cash directly from us in return (the “Services”). The following terms and conditions (the “Terms”), along with the terms set forth in any of our forms submitted by you through the Site when using the Services, constitute a legally binding contract by which we operate the Services. We refer to ourselves throughout the Site and in these Terms and Conditions as “Verado”, “Verado Technologies Ltd.”, “we”, “us” or “our”.
Any use by you of the site and services is subject to these terms. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the site and the services.
It is hereby clarified that Verado is not the final buying entity and only serves as a broker for the services set forth in these terms.

“Valuable” or “valuable” means an item that is of great worth that you wish to sell through the Services, especially a small item of personal property including, but not limited to: watches, jewellery, diamonds, gemstones;
“Services” means a safe, convenient and fast way to sell valuables, provided through the Site, to a network of third party buyers and get cash directly from Verado in return;
“Site” means the web address accessible by browsing: Verado.com;
“Request” means an application to sell a valuable via the Request Form;
“Request Form” means any form on the Site dedicated to the submission of the details of the Valuable;
“Auction” means the process through which Verado collects bids from its network of buyers;
“Successful Sale” means the scenario whereby the Winning Bid is equal to or higher than the Reserve Price;
“Incomplete Sale” means the scenario whereby the Winning Bid is lower than the Reserve Price;
“Unsuccessful Sale” means the scenario whereby there are no bids in the Auction;
“Success Fee” means the amount Verado will charge as a cost to you for its Services, calculated as a percentage of the Winning Bid, according to the rates available for review in our FAQ page (verado.com/faq);
“Payment” means the payout you will receive upon completion of the Services, calculated as Winning Bid minus Success Fee.
Our simple-to-use Services are conducted in the following steps:
1.1. STEP 1: SUBMIT YOUR ITEM’S DETAILS
By filling out our Request Form, you may apply to sell valuable(s) owned by you. When you fill out the Request Form, you will be asked to provide us with a complete and accurate description of the valuable you are seeking to sell, and to attach a clear photo of it if you can via our website or other provided communication channels, such as: email, WhatsApp and live chat. The more accurate and detailed description and history of the valuable you provide us, the more likely it is that we will be able to provide you with an accurate estimation of the item’s value (as described below) and the more probable that a high number of potential bidders will be interested in your valuable.
We reserve the right to refuse to assist in the sale of your valuable.
All Requests are subject to our approval and item evaluation. We reserve the right to refuse any Request at any time prior to completing the transaction.
It is hereby clarified that you are undertaking you will only use our services to sell items that belong to you. You take full responsibility for any item that you sell through our services, and agree to hold Verado and its officers, employees and representatives harmless for any loss related to any unauthorized items sold by you through the services. You further acknowledge your understanding that the sale of stolen property, property taken without authorization from its rightful owner or property that is not free from all security interests, liens, or encumbrances violates the UK and European law and it is prohibited through the Site. We will notify law enforcement of any attempts to sell stolen property through the services or in general, and will support the investigation and prosecution of sellers who violate these terms.
In addition to all other remedies available under applicable law, it is clarified that all amounts paid for items which breach the above undertakings will be returned in full to Verado.
1.2. STEP 2: RECEIVE AN INITIAL ESTIMATE
After you submit your completed Request Form, we will provide you with an initial response which may include an initial estimation of the potential value of your item, based on the description you submitted ("Estimate Range"). Alternatively, if we decide to reject your Request, the initial response will inform you of such rejection.
The Estimate Range is provided by us solely as a non-binding estimation, at our sole discretion, and may differ from the actual market value of the valuable. Following the receipt of the Estimate Range, you may choose to either (i) ACCEPT IT and continue with the process set forth below for each item, or (ii) NOT – at your discretion.
1.3. STEP 3: SEND THE ITEM IN
There are 3 ways to send the item in for inspection and grading:
1. physically hand in the item to one of our approved Verado Inspection Partners subject to receiving a written confirmation from a member of our staff;
2. ship the item at your own discretion and cost to one of our Verado Inspection Partners, subject to receiving a written confirmation from a member of our staff;
3. let us arrange a collection for you. You will need to confirm your address and preferred time slot for the pick up. Any insurance coverage applied is subject to the terms and conditions of our chosen logistics provider.
Please bear in mind that we are not responsible for any loss or damage to valuables which occur during shipping. We reserve the right to reject the acceptance of any package which appears to be damaged, opened, or tampered with. Any such valuable will be returned to you in the same manner in which we received it.
1.4. STEP 4: PROFESSIONAL INSPECTION
Once we receive your valuable, our internal experts or third party laboratories will conduct a physical assessment in order to verify and certify its authenticity and condition. The assessment may be conducted internally by us or through a reputable independent service provider, such as the Gemological Institute of America, the International Gemological Institute or the Gemmological Association of Great Britain.
We will issue a technical assessment which will result in one of the following:
(1) ACCEPTANCE: Verado will accept the valuable if (i) it matches the description sent to us through the Request, as solely determined by licensed experts or if we deem it suitable for sale regardless and (ii) you accept and agree with the Reserve Price we provide;
(2) REJECTION: Verado will reject the valuable if (i) it materially differs from the description provided through the Request, (ii) is inauthentic, (iii) is in unsatisfactory condition or is otherwise not suitable for sale, as determined by us in our sole discretion and (iv) no agreement on the Reserve Price is found between Verado and you. In such instances, we will notify you that due to our rejection we will be shipping back the valuable to you at your own cost and the coverage of the on-premises insurance associated with your item may be adjusted or eliminated accordingly. The valuable will be shipped at your own expense using FedEx, Royal Mail, DHL or other carriers elected by us (the tracking number, if available, will be sent to you following its shipment). Should you prefer an alternative shipping method or insurance coverage, you will have up to 72 hours from our initial email to you to inform us of your decision to bypass our shipping and arrange for your own shipping and in such an instance you shall be solely responsible for any delivery costs and related insurance.
By sending the item to us for a physical assessment, you understand that certain items might require in-depth examination to fully assess them. Such in-depth examination might result in slight physical alterations, minor scratches or other physical changes. For example, when we assess a watch, the back of the watch may need to be opened in order to properly examine it or when we assess a diamond ring, the diamond may need to be removed from its setting in order to properly examine it, properly weigh it and determine its quality.
Similarly, should we receive items sealed in plastic box or wrapping, such packaging must be removed to fully assess the Valuable. In some instances, it will not be possible to restore the valuable back to its original state. In addition, before starting an auction, the item may need to be washed and cleaned, which might result in a slight change in its look. We will not be held responsible for any such reasonable changes due to the assessment of the Valuable or its preparation for an Auction.
Assuming your Valuable is accepted, we will also be determining a minimum amount that you must accept for your Valuable (the “Reserve Price”). Setting a Reserve Price is a mandatory step prior to commencing an auction for your Valuable.
By determining the reserve price and continuing with the process, you agree to sell your valuable at the winning bid, if the bid (as further explained in step 5) is equal to or higher than the reserve price.
1.5. STEP 5: AUCTION
Following the inspection, a report outlining the unique characteristics of your Valuable will be created and circulated to our network of potential buyers to attract their bids as part of the Auction.
Verado reserves the right to extend any Auction end times and durations at its sole discretion.
We may publicly share any information provided regarding items that you choose to Auction through our Services and you should have no expectation of privacy regarding such information related to the Valuable.
Following the end of the Auction, we will review and consider all bids received during the bid phase. At our sole and final discretion, based on such review and a range of parameters we assess, we will determine the Winning Bid from the qualifying bids collected. Furthermore, we do not guarantee that any bids will actually be placed for all auctions.
We will inform you of the Winning Bid and of our applicable success fees (the “Success Fee”), calculated according to our rates which are available for review on our FAQ page (Verado.com/faq). Such Success Fee will be deducted by us from the Winning Bid and the difference will be paid out to you as described in section 1.6.
At the end of the Auction, the following cases can arise, as set forth in the Definitions:
1. SUCCESSFUL SALE: you accept the Winning Bid. For the avoidance of doubt, you cannot reject the Winning Bid in a Successful Sale;
2. INCOMPLETE SALE: you will have up to five (5) working days to inform us in writing if you accept or reject the Winning Bid. If we do not hear back from you within five (5) working days from the date we inform you of the Winning Bid, your silence will be deemed as acceptance of the Winning Bid. If you reject the Winning Bid, we will return the Valuable to you and you will not be charged the success fee;
3. UNSUCCESSFUL SALE: you will have up to five (5) working days to inform us in writing if you wish to launch another Auction or get your Valuable back. If we do not hear back from you within five (5) working days from the date we inform you of the Successful Sale, we will return your Valuable to you.
By accepting the Winning Bid, you authorize us to charge the Success Fee and deduct it from the amount payable to you for the Valuable.
Any return of the valuable will be processed at your expense using FedEx, Royal Mail or other carriers elected by us (the tracking number, if available, will be sent to you following its shipment). Should you prefer an alternative shipping method, you will have up to 72 hours from our initial email to you to inform us of your decision to bypass our shipping and arrange for your own shipping by providing us with an alternative shipping label; in such instance, you shall be solely responsible for delivery costs and related insurance.
1.6. STEP 6: GET PAID
After you accept the Winning Bid, you will receive the Payment by Bank Transfer to the account specified by you. You are responsible for any charges that may be applied by your bank or as a result of the money transfer. Take into account that it might take a few days for you to actually receive the Payment, depending on your bank. In addition, any misinformation provided to us regarding your payment details (for example, incorrect bank or routing number) may cause a delay in the delivery of payment as well as expenses that you might be required to bear.
2. ELIGIBLE USERS AND ACCEPTABLE USE
You hereby represent and warrant that (i) you are over eighteen (18) years of age, (ii) you are the rightful owner of, or are entitled to sell any valuable that you sell through the Services, (iii) the valuables you sell through the services are free and clear of all liens and encumbrances whatsoever, and (iv) you are legally entitled to freely sell or otherwise transfer the valuables you sell through the services at your sole discretion.

We will cooperate with legal authorities and internet service providers in releasing information about users who violate these Terms.

PROTECTING YOUR PRIVACY
At Verado, we are 100% committed to protecting the privacy and security of our customers and site visitors (yep, we mean you). The Verado team members are customers themselves, of both Verado and other internet sites – so we totally appreciate and respect how important privacy is. If you have any questions about how we Protect Your Privacy, drop us a line at firstname.lastname@example.org.
For all our services, the data controller — the company that’s responsible for your privacy— is Verado Technologies Limited.
1. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION
We use your information in a number of different ways — what we do depends on the information. We will explain below what we do, and why we do it.
Wwill not sell any of your personal data to any third party – including your name, address, email address or credit card information. We want to earn and maintain your trust, and we believe this is absolutely essential in order do that.
However, we share your data with the following categories of companies as an essential part of being able to provide our services to you, as set out in this statement:
1. Companies that do things to get your Products to you, such as payment service providers, warehouses, order packers, and delivery companies;
2. Professional service providers, such as marketing agencies, advertising partners and website hosts, who help us run our business;
3. Credit reference agencies, law enforcement and fraud prevention agencies, so we can help tackle fraud;
4. Companies approved by you, such as social media sites (if you choose to link your accounts to us). We may provide third parties with aggregated but anonymised information and analytics about our customers and, before we do so, we will make sure that it does not identify you.
2. MARKETING MESSAGES
If you have said we can, we’ll send you marketing messages by email or text to keep you aware of what we’re up to and to help you find our services.
You can stop receiving marketing messages from us at any time. You can do this:
1. Through your account settings
2. By clicking on the ‘unsubscribe’ link in any email
3. By contacting our Customer Care team
Once you do this, we will update your profile to ensure that you don’t receive further marketing messages.
Please note that, as Verado comprises a complex web of many inter-connecting services, it might take a few days for all our systems to be updated, so you might get messages from us while we process your request.
Stopping marketing messages will not stop service communications (such as order updates or where you have expressed an interest in an activity at Verado, for example new designers).
We also engage in online advertising to keep you aware of what we’re up to and to help you see and find our Services.
Like many companies, we deliver Verado banners and ads to you when you are on other websites and apps. We do this using a variety of digital marketing networks and ad exchanges, and we use a range of advertising technologies like web beacons, pixels, ad tags, cookies, and mobile identifiers, as well as specific services offered by some sites and social networks, such as Facebook’s Custom Audience service.
The banners and ads you see will be based on information we hold about you, or your previous use of Verado (for example, your Verado search history, and the content you read on Verado) or on Verado banners or ads you have previously clicked on.
3. KEEPING YOU INFORMATION
We’ll only hold on to your information for as long as you are a customer. If you haven’t logged onto our website for three years we will delete your information from our systems. If you no longer wish to be a customer, you can also contact our Customer Care Team and request to delete all the information we have on you.
If reasonably necessary or required to meet legal or regulatory requirements, resolve disputes, prevent fraud and abuse, or enforce our Terms & Conditions, we may also keep hold of some of your information as required, even after you have closed your account or it is no longer needed to provide the services to you.
4. YOUR RIGHTS
You have a lot of rights relating to your personal information:
1. The right to be informed about how your personal information is being used (like this notice!);
2. The right to access the personal information we hold about you;
3. The right to request the correction of inaccurate personal information we hold about you (although you can probably do most of this through My Account);
4. The right to request that we delete your data, or stop processing it or collecting it, in some circumstances;
5. The right to stop direct marketing messages, which you can do by contacting our Customer Care Team, and to withdraw consent for other consent-based processing at any time;
6. The right to request that we transfer or port elements of your data either to you or another service provider;
7. The right to complain to your data protection regulator — in the UK, the Information Commissioner’s Office.
If you want to exercise your rights, have a complaint, or just have questions, please contact us.
5. CHANGES HOW WE PROTECT YOUR PRIVACY
We may change this page from time to time, to reflect how we are processing your data. If we make significant changes, we will make that clear on the Verado website or other Verado services, or by some other means of contact such as email, so that you are able to review the changes before you continue to use Verado.

Frequently asked questions
WHAT DOES VERADO DO? Verado is dedicated to providing sellers with a platform to re-sell valuables conveniently, rapidly and at fair prices. Verado’s platform aggregates offers from thousands of national and international dealers to make sure you’ll always get the best the market is paying for your items. Led by the very best in the luxury goods market, we work together to bring you the fairest market value for your valuable items while providing stellar service. Whether you need financing to run your small business, to plan for the future, or to go on a vacation, we are here for you.
WHAT TYPES OF ITEMS DO YOU ACCEPT? Verado accepts valuables for which we are well-qualified to evaluate and will interest our buyers. We typically accept: 1. Jewelry & Diamonds - most types of precious jewelry including rings, bracelets, necklaces and earrings made from gold or platinum, with or without diamonds. 2. Branded Watches - luxury watches including Rolex, Cartier, Omega, Breitling, Audemars Piguet, Patek Philippe, Tag Heuer, and many more.
SO HOW DOES IT WORK? There are five easy steps in the sales process: 1. Describe your item to the best of your ability using the submission form. 2. We collect your item 3. Once your valuable reaches our inspection centers, our experts clean, photograph it and inspect it for authenticity and conditions. At this stage our team will contact you to discuss how to best set your reserve price for the auction. At the same time, prospective buyers receive an alert about the valuables about to be auctioned. 4. The auction begins, allowing qualified and targeted buyers a set period of time (up to 48 hours) to compete for the item. 5. Upon acceptance of the high bid, the payment is processed almost immediately – and funds are transferred to you.
WHAT ARE YOUR FEES? There are absolutely no fees for working with us until a deal is made. Then, our fee is 15% and it will be deducted from your payout.
WHAT IS THE “MARKET VALUE”? The market value is defined by what your item is worth in the current marketplace. This is determined by measuring the demand for the item and how much buyers are willing to pay for it. With our auction platform, we are confident that we can get you the highest market value by reaching professional luxury buyers world-wide, and inviting them to compete for your item.
WHAT IS THE “RESERVE PRICE"? The reserve price is the lowest price that you are committed to accepting for your valuable. If the leading bid at the end of the auction meets or exceeds this price, the sale will be approved automatically. If the leading bid does not reach the reserve price, you may reject the offer and have your valuable shipped back to you fully insured, free of charge.
WHY VERADO VS EBAY? It all begins with a market value analysis in which the details you provide are used to generate estimated auction results. Before you even send your item in, you'll have an idea of what you may get for it at auction. When you do decide to send your item to Verado, our professionals will take HD, 360 degree photos to be presented to buyers at auction. The next step is what really sets Verado apart - a professional, objective, complimentary grading at our leading grading labs. When buyers bid on your valuable item, they know what they are getting. Verado is a trusted powerseller that can secure those high bids and when the auction ends, we even take care of sending the item to the buyer.
Last but not least, when you sell through Verado you utilize not one, but many selling channels (Verado Buyer Network, eBay, Rapnet, and more).
WHY SHOULD I TRUST YOUR GRADING PARTNERS OVER MY LOCAL JEWELER'S APPRAISAL? Buyers place higher bids with Verado because we only use the very best in the industry to authenticate and grade items auctioned with us. Our grading partners are well renowned in the industry and are approved by the GIA or the Gemological Association of Great Britain. Gradings carried out by our partners are so thorough and trusted in the industry, that we put forth a description guarantee. Buyers that come to Verado know that what they see is what they get, and ultimately place higher bids.
It is also important to keep in mind that we are not the ultimate buyers of your valuable item, making every evaluation as objective as possible. Our goal is to create mutual trust between buyers and sellers that will result in a win-win deal.
CAN’T I GET A GOOD PRICE IF I SELL MY ITEMS DIRECTLY TO A JEWELER? Selling pre-owned luxury items like branded watches or diamond rings to a local jeweler will often bring minimal value (perhaps just slightly better than going to a pawn shop). When a local jeweler buys an item like this, they will normally sell it to a dealer who then will sell it to a wholesaler. That means there’s at least three people who need to make a profit which leaves little for the seller. A store may also choose to sell the item on consignment which means the seller must wait to get paid only if and when the item is sold.
WHAT ABOUT SELLING MY ITEM THROUGH HIGH-END AUCTION HOUSES? Large auction houses, including Christie’s and Sotheby’s, tend to accept only luxury items of the highest value. Their auctions are only organised every few months – requiring a great deal of time, planning, effort and fuss – and come with higher fees and sales commissions.
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE FOR AN ITEM TO SELL ON VERADO? When an item goes to auction, it can take 8-10 business days from the time an item arrives at Verado headquarters to grade, collect all qualified bids and conclude the sale.
WHY DO I NEED TO SEND MY ITEM TO YOU? In order for buyers to bid with confidence, they need to know that every item is authenticated and that the selling description is guaranteed. That is how we get buyers to bid for the full value of the item. Furthermore, a large part of the work that we conduct on your behalf is done while in our possession such as the high resolution photography, buyer targeting, and final transaction. It is crucial that we are able to physically see your item and assure that it is going to the right people at the right price.
HOW DO I SEND MY VALUABLES TO YOU? We use Royal Mail and DHL to collect your items. Packages are tracked from the moment they leave your door to the moment we receive them. Valuables are fully insured from beginning to end.
WHAT IF MY VALUABLES ARE NOT IN PERFECT CONDITION? You can still sell them. Jewelry and precious metals are appraised based on their weight and quality. Thus we can still sell them even if they are broken or incomplete. Watches, however, will achieve a better sale value if they are in proper working condition. It is always preferable to receive valuables in their original box and/or with the payment receipt.
HOW MUCH DOES SHIPPING COST? We cover all shipping expenses, including collection and insurance of your valuable item from your home to our secured facility.
WHERE WILL MY VALUABLES BE STORED? All items sent to Verado are tracked and monitored as soon as they reach our facility. Once your valuables are graded, we store them in highly secure vaults for the duration of the auction process. Verado's secure storage facility is fully protected and your items are insured from the moment we receive your valuable until we ship it back to you.
WHAT HAPPENS IF MY VALUABLES GET LOST OR STOLEN? In the extremely unlikely event that this happens, your valuables are insured from the moment they are collected.
HOW WILL I RECEIVE PAYMENT? We process our payments by same day bank transfer.
CAN I BACK-OUT OF THE PROCESS AT ANY TIME? Prior to auction there is no obligation of any kind. Once you agree to a reserve price, you are committed to selling your valuable for that price. If the highest bid falls below the reserve price you have the option to decline and have your valuable sent back to you fully insured, free of charge.
IF I REJECT THE OFFER WILL YOU SEND BACK MY VALUABLE? Yes. If the offers fall below your reserve price, simply request the valuable to be sent back to you. We will send it back immediately in the same condition it was sent to us, no strings attached. However, once you agree to a reserve price, you are committed to selling your valuable.
WHY DO YOU NEED MY I.D. ? Based on British and European regulations and best business practices, we cannot conduct any transaction or issue payment without a proper government issued ID. We do this to protect both our buyers and sellers and to prevent fraudulent behavior.
IF I HAVE A CERTIFICATION OR APPRAISAL ON MY ITEM DOES THAT INCREASE THE VALUE? Certification or pre-appraisal will get you a more accurate estimate for your item, it does not however increase the value itself. We accept appraisals and certificates from professional jewelers and grading reports from the following institutions: GIA (Industry standard) EGL IGI AGS
ARE YOUR FACILITIES SAFE AND SECURE? The safety of your items is our priority. That is why we have fully backed insurance covering your items throughout the entire process.
WHAT’S IN IT FOR THE BUYERS? WHY WOULD THEY WANT TO COMPETE ONLINE WITH OTHER PROFESSIONAL BUYERS? Verado provides its buyers with two critical services: volume and authenticity. Verado buyers have access to a steady flow of luxury goods that have already been authenticated by Verado’s professional appraisers. Buyers have access to this steady flow of verified items saving them significant time and money, while avoiding the headaches of having to deal with unsophisticated or unscrupulous sellers.
